Boreal Cordillera Ecosystem

Boreal Cordillera is known for his rocky mountains

It also has alot of rivers leading to buetiful ice glaciers

the temperatures top a 10 degrees Celsius leading to long snowy winters

For 11 months of the year weather is below freezing, it is very windy, and not good for air plans to fly

Boreal cordillera in upper midsection oft he rocky mountains it covers a bit of British Colombia, it covers 5 percent of Canada's land mass. 464,600 km.

this land is covered with many trees of all differents sorts inclueding, Birch, Spruce, Pine, Aspine, and many more

sadly there are not many flowers will grow here with all the snow and the cold tempters

with all the trees you would think there would be a lot of forest fires but with the cold tempters, and the amount of water there are really no fires

the rocky mountains are over powered by shrubs, from left to right these dead bushes are decomposing this beautiful place

Boreal Cordillera has 6 main animals timber wolfs, Canadian geese, foxes , grizzly bears, lynxes,and mountian goats

there is not much wild life, knowing how cold it is and the length of time the cold weather is there

mountian goats stay all year round from there puffy warm fur to there great climbing ability's they are the ideal animal to live here

there are no reptiles living here,because they have no way to produce heat and will die of the cold

most animals that live here are carnivores, because there is not much plants that grow in this cold,snowy place

tourism there is huge, they have so many beautiful sights and so many cool animals

scents it has so many animals there hunting is big too,12 percent of the people that come are looking for certin animals they cant find/hunt were they come from

Also scents there are so much water, people come from many different places to fish

in the past gold mining was really big there, with all the mountains there was so much gold

problem: boreal woodland caribou are becoming , because the government has not done much to change the hunting law in these places
