iPhone
"Apple," was established on April I, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne.
Steve Wozniak was born August 11,1950 and co-founded Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.). He alone invented both the Apple I and Apple II. He no longer works in Apple.
Steve Jobs was born February 24, 1955 and is best known as the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Died from pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2011
The iPhone is line of smartphones made by Apple, it runs on Apple's IOS mobile operating system. Steve Jobs came up with the idea of a touchscreen to interact with a computer to remove the physical keyboard and mouse.
The first generation iPhone was first released on June 29,2007. It was released with the iPhone OS 2.0. From the beginning it contained the touchscreen that we know and love. it also has a 4, 8 or 16 GB memory and also a 3.5 inch screen (diagonaly). Now on to the next generation!
The next iPhone was the 3G. It was first released on July 11, 2008. It is very similar to the original iPhone, except for a few new features such as assisted GPS and 3g (ability to access WiFi anywhere). It also has software improvments from the iPhone OS 2.0, which was launched at the same time. It is also has the same screen size and memory (minus the 4 GB memory).
Now we have the iPhone 4, which was first released on June 24, 2010. It has a brand new design over the previous iPhones, it incorporates a stainless steel frame. It has the Apple A4 processor aswell as a 960x640 pixel resolution. Moreover, it contains 8, 16 or 32 GB memory and the same screen size as all the other iPhones. Lastly, it contains all the other features from previous iPhones.
In October-December 2011 the iPhone 4s was released. Modeled the same as the 4s, but it has a few imprvoments including improved hardware as well as software updates. The main advancement is the voice recognition system called "Siri".
The iPhone 5 was released between September-December (depending on the country you live in). It runs on Apple's new operating software iOS 6. It can also do many things, from playing music, to playing podcast, as well as access WiFi (3g or greater). It also has an improved Siri, which allows the user to operate the phone using voice commands. Moreover it has 16, 32 or 64 GB memory and 4 inch screen disgonally. What makes this iPhone so special is, well obviously the improvments to hardware...but also being thinner, lighter and having less volume than all the other iPhones, an advancment to say the least.
Ronald Wayne was born May 17, 1934 and co-founded Apple Computer. However, shortly after its creation he sold his share of the new company for $2,300.
