ST Math

Integrating and Advantages
The program empowers students by allowing them to work at there own pace. Prepares them for future math skills by constantly having them solve problems in a virtual game world. It is suitable for ESL learners.
The game itself is a virtual world like a video game that makes assessments fun. You could use ST Math in the class as an assessment tool, or as a math rotation station to help lower level students get more practice that they need. This is also a great tool to substitute for math homework and get students more excited to work on tasks at hand.
Assessments
ST Math allows teachers to see exactly where there students are and how they are doing in each standard or area. It also shows teachers how much time students are taking to answer each question which can be a good indicator of if the student is guessing or not.
Standards, Goals and Objectives and Grade Level
This allows teachers to scaffold based off of students needs, while aligning with the grade levels standards through personal goals for each student to master and become proficient in.
The grade level that this program is most successful in and is designed for is Kinder all the way up to 6th grade. The main idea of the program is to help students become masters in the standards and objectives for their grade levels so they will be more successful as they move on to algebra and so forth.
