Su origen esta arraigado a los siguientes estudios: -los fosiles encontrados datan de hace 2,04 y 1,95 millones de años. -posiblemente provienen del sur del continente de Africa. -Homo-erectus significa hombre erecto, es decir, hombre de piel.

El origen del hombre se caracteriza y conoce por el estudio de varias especies, entre ellas; australopithecus afrensis, homo-erectus y, homo-sapiens. Quienes al pasar del tiempo fueron evolucionando, obteniendo asì, capacidades que lograron la supervivencia de grupos sociales hasta hoy.
