Social Trust Map
(Iteration 2)

Methodology Notes for DRAFT Iteration 2: Weighting: We will equally weigh the high-level categories, sub-sections (within its parent category), and underlying variables (within its parent section). Statistic Type: By default, we will use the percentage of the population (households or adults) to characterize the persona of a block group. Geography: We will measure behavioral characteristics within a block group, and for assets, we will measure the assets within the block group plus assets within a 1/4 mile buffer of the block group. For green and public space assets we will leverage polygon boundaries (Open Street Map - OSM) where available and augment with points as appropriate (SafeGraph).
