This quote is importsnt because it shows how lady macbeth is saying if he steps back he is no man
Lady macbeth is telling macbeth that he should not tak about failure

The news is about the royal master being murdered and macduff is giving her a warning befire telling her the news.
This represents gender roles because women are steriotypically thought to be soft and get emotional easily
