We're going to look at these challenges and figure out how to figure them out.

We will work through one in class and the other one will be assigned.

The solution will require multiple steps on your part, beginning with

doing it "long hand", then figuring out what the building blocks for the

solution are. Watch BB for detailed tasks.

Week 1

Complete the Aptitude Assessment, link posted in announcements.

Here it is, the link to theᅠaptitude testᅠI mentioned in class. This is the seven question version and you will be

given 20 minutes to complete the test. Having taken the test myself and received a 6 out of 7, I can say that it is quite a challenge. There are 2 or 3 questions that you will most likely find very challenging. My advice to you is:

If you encounter one of the tough questions, that you give yourself about 30 seconds to see if you can figure it out, if you can't, move on to the next question, you can revisit the question after you have attempted the remaining questions.ᅠMake sure you have pencil and paper handy so you can work out the questions on paper. You may want to make some notes about each question as you see it.You might want to mark the question with an A, B or C, where A = you know it, B = you can figure it out, C = this is tough, come back to it later if I have timePlease be as careful as you can. When you register, please use your my.stlcc.edu email address to make it easier to determine that you are one of my students.Good luck!
