Holds the eggs until fertilised.

Becomes part of the fruit after fertilisation

Is the seeds of the fruit

Waits to be fertilised by the pollen grains

Stigma

Waits for the pollen grains to reach

So that the ovules can be fertilised

Style

Once fertilised, it will emit a new chemical which will form a new tube through itself. The pollen grains can now move on to meet the ovules.

Helping part (for flowering plants, most)

Petals

Usually light in couour, they provide the landing area of the insects which pollinate them. They also attract the insects to them.

They drop off after fertilisation have takn place.

Scent

This will further attract the insects and animal pollinators to help in pollination.
