The 1920s roared
Women's Rights Roared
Suffrage was granted to women in 1918 and they were allowed to vote in provincial elections is some provinces. The photo shows suffragates celebrating as is was announced that women could now vote.
Women were now finally considered as persons under the BNA act which was sent over to the British court and finally ruled that they were women.

Women were now allowed to have the same rights that men have in Divorce due to the perseverance of Agnes Macphail. The photo here shows the new divorce laws in Canada.
Agnes Macphail was the first female senator as women now could be senators as they were considered "persons" now.

There was a high demand for gas,oil,metal and paint due to cars which had increased the economy. The photo here shows the influx in demand for cars as this delarship has so much.

Hydro and electricity has started in Canada and tourism had increased. The photo here shows the old dam that was built in Alberta in 1920 for hydro electricity.
Entertainment/Arts roared
More Canadian films were made an Canadian actors were celebrated. The photo here is of famous actor Mary Pickford who has won may awards and is a celbrated actor.
Canadian radio started to play more Canadian music. This image is of Guy lambardi and his band one of the most prominent artist in the 1920.
Technology Roared
The variable pitch propeller which helped to build Ac,snowmachines and other machines.
Now in Canada, there was an expansion of telephone lines so now 25% of homes has telephones. The photo here shows an 1920 candlestick telephone one of the first types.
Air travel had started to become popular and more. The phto here is of one of Canada's first airllines Trans Canada Air Lines
Insulin was discovered in Canada by Sir Frederick Banting & Charles Best
