CHICKENPOX

Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) and commonly affects children, though adults can also contract it. The virus spreads via two main routes: direct contact with the mucus, saliva, or fluid from blisters of an infected person, or through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
