The design process for electronics includes developing specifications that address both aesthetics and functionality. Key specifications include safe operation, sensitivity to pressure, vibration, and tilt, and a strong attachment to the floor or base.
A time-table of the expacted way you will move from solution to product. The plan should take into consideration the workshop time available as well as provide alternative routes should external factors come into account beyond your control.

Working Drawing
Detailed drawings that should be used in the manufacturing of the product. The number of drawings depends on the complexity of the product. Normally, one orthographic drawing followed by some isometric drawings of specific aspects of the design should be included. In the case of electronics, these drawings would relate to the bodyof the circuit casing. The final circuit drawing used to produce the product should be put here in terms of the electronics aspect, together with simulation drawings of circuit.
Making
The making process described through a step by step approach accompanied by photos of the different steps in the making process.
Testing
Testing should be made on the product & the results as well as processes should be described & recorded through wording & photos. In the testing section, modifications may be included & the models with the modifications made can be retested. If the modification is too complex, or provides other factors which makes it difficult for the manufacturer to make in the time frame alloted, the need for the modification may be mentioned but not produced.
Evaluation
All aspects of the design should be subject to an evaluation. This will include the use of valued judgement & evaluation. This is part of the itirative aspect of the design process & can thus be included in simple annotations even in parts such as the sketches. However, the main chunk of the evaluation must be made in this section & must take into consideration the final design & the modifications included.

Generation of Ideas
A range of ideas, drawn as quick sketches, showing different solutions to the situation. Each sketch or drawing must be hand drawn & must include annotations, dimensions & colour. In the case of electronics, these ideas would relate to the body of the circuit casing. The electronics aspect should be represented in terms of different circuit drawings.

Research
The research should include information which you needed to look up to be able to complete the various aspects of your project. The information you write should be in your own wording & should only include the important/relevant information.

Fabian: Design & make a transparent PVC coloumn, that can display a valuable vase safely, can be strongly attached to the floor & conceals an alarm system. The alarm it's self must be sensitive to tilting & vibrations. The alarm must attract attention easily when it is triggered through sound & light & can be activated and deactivated via a hidden magnetic switch.
Mauro: Design & make a transparent structure, which visually exposes a vase from as many angles as possible, whilst being extremely secure. The structure must have a concaled alarm, which is very safe, attracts attention easily one triggered & is difficult to tamper.
James: Design & Make a transparent cube, that will be strong, has a secure access hole to its inside, has a pressure sensitive holder for the vase & can be firmly connected to a heavy base. The alarm must be loud & activated via a key switch.
