The population can make some people move away as they might rather be in other places for better opportunity's such as better jobs, shelter and many more things. As well as the fact that they might not think the area they are in currently is safe.

Reasons why many people are leaving turkey.

The problem with "sea snot".
Sea snot is currently a problem in turkey's sea of Marmara as it covers the top of the water which makes any swimmers who dare to swim by it have their skin become quite itchy. The real problem is under the water though as the sludge suffocates marine life and thrives off of the heat and pollution. Global warming is a reason to why the sludge is feeding off the heat.
Pollution is a serious problem in Turkey as the environment is suffering from pollution as Turkeys increasing numbers are increasing pollution. Additionally global warming has just made the matters worse as it has introduced "sea snot" into Turkey.
