Upon ascending to power in 1933, he withdrew Germany from the League of Nations and initiated a military buildup that reduced unemployment by drafting thousands into the armed forces.

He invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia; and also invaded Poland. This led him and Germany to a war.

Hitler took over Austria; took over the Sudetenland area of Czechoslovakia.

Tried out Germany's new weapons in the Spanish Civil War; made an anti-Communist alliance with Italy.

1936

He broke the rules of the Treaty of Versailles, reintroducing conscription to the army. Anyway, he got away with rearmament. He also sent troops into the Rhineland, and made an anti-Communist alliance with Japan.

Hitler openly presented a massive military rally, celebrating the armed forces.

Tried to take over Austria but was stopped by Mussolini.

1933

Hitler came to power, and took Germany out of the League of Nations. He wanted to increase Germany's armed forces, because of this thousand of unemployed people were drafted into the army, and also this reduced one of the most important problems from Germany, the unemployment.
