eLearning has the potential to significantly enhance equity in education by addressing several key challenges. It allows for more effective communication between instructors and students, minimizing misunderstandings that can hinder equality and growth.

Creates more opportunity for more access to new courses

eLearning opens the learning sphere is such a way that people from all over the world can access education. It makes it so much easier, that regardless of where you are education will not be denied beacuse of geographical boundries.

Technical support

Equality in tech support is crutial in the eleaning space. Persons with language and cultural differencs sometime have great difficulties understanding and following the instructions given by tech support. Students who do not have internet or poor internet connection, will be denied the benefits of eLearning.

Teacher's philosphy

The belief system and thought process about what is important in the learning process. Some teacher shy away from certain controversal topics, beacuse they are not confident enough to teach or it goes againt their philosphy.

Inclusion, Equity and Accessibility

Holding oneselve accountable to have a diversity in staff gender, race, age and other categories. Ensure that the training curriculm address racism and bias. School reources should reflect our community needs.

Communincation

Instructors sometimes are disconnected with their students. Instructors, intend to communicate one message and ended up conveying another. This contributes to lost opportunities to foster equality, belonging, and growth in the classroom

Prepare students for the future

We are living in a technological age therefore, elearning provide the perfect platform for student to learn the ways of the future.

Overcome teacher shortage in some subject areas.

eLearnig provides a more flexible and more productive way to partner teachers and students. Students can have more access to subject teachers than they would normally have. For Eaxmple, French teachers are in short supply throughout the country. eLearning can bridge that gap giving far more students the opportunity to learn french.

Providing Feedback

Teachers need to have feedback form students to determine whether or not learning is taking place. Teachers have to be more intentional in the virtual setting.

Assessment Tools

I would provides wide aray of assessment tools such as forum post, game-type activity, drag-and-drop activity, online quizzes, debates and essay questons.

Parents getting involved

Parents must be involved in the teaching/learning process. Parents should try to learn the technology the students are using so that they can assist when needed. The parents and school must be in constant dialogue to ensure that there are no barriers to learning.
