Conflict in a story is a struggle between opposing forces. Characters must act to confront those forces and there is where conflict is born. If there is nothing to overcome, there is no story. Conflict in a story creates and drives the plot forward.
In this type of conflict, a character must take on society itself, and not a single person. The character stands at odds with societal norms and realizes the necessity to work against these norms. This is an external conflict.

The first event was during quarantine, I was scrolling through tik tok and I came up to a filter of videos about spirituality. At this time I didn't have a strong belief in anything so I was interested. I found a few people and some tarot readers that explained how the universe supposedly worked, all it's mysteries and why spirituality was already engraved in us waiting to be unleashed. It changed me in a good way, I then took everything lightly, I stopped stressing as much, I learned to love everything unconditionally, be more assertive and do what needs to be done to get what I want. I believe that was a big turning point in my life because my life became so much easier after learning about spirituality. The second event was a kid named Matteo at St.Joes who passed away due to Cancer. We knew each other briefly and the last time I spoke to him we exchanged some not very nice words. He randomly spazzed out at me and because we were both young I didn't know how to react. I felt bad, even though he attacked me first because I didn't know he was suffering like that and that may have been a reason for his behavior. After that debacle I decided to be nice to people no matter what to the best of my ability
Two events that had a significant impact on my life.
