The project aimed to engage its target audience by creating a relatable scenario featuring a college student, which was intended to resonate with viewers who might experience similar situations.
The look of the student is appealing because he looks like a normal college student, and is as if he would be a normal person you would pass.
The sound does show some representation of modern music
The location is relatable tosome of the local people
The Storyline could have been developed further to be more clear and concise
The location
We decided that we needed to film in an urban location with a college and this creates more of a sense of realism to relate to.
Some of the audience could not follow the story line very well, perhaps because some of the shots I planned where not put in.
The music that was used could have been developed further but as a lack of knowledge and resources in the software I used, this restricted what I could produce.
Yes - The main character in our film is a college student and this can be relatable to our target audience which is more entertaining
The look of the student
in our group we knew that we needed to have a character who looked like a student so we planned on him having normal college clothes (including a bag), this would then make him more relatable and create a better understanding of the setting.
We used the idea of a teacher getting onto a student to try and relate to some of our target audience, as the ones around this age may experience the same issues. Generally it is more entertaining to be able to relate to context.
Sound
When I edited the music in, I planned to put some electronic sounding bass line into it this links to the stereotype of what teenagers listen to in the modern day, thus reaching the target audience better.
I also decided to use sounds of nature to create an outdoor atmosphere and a sense of realism
