Pyramids
The tomb of the Egyptian Pharaoh is known as Pyramid. The people of Egypt believed that after death, the soul returns back to the body. So they preserved the dead body of the Pharaoh by applying chemicals in it. This preserved body of the Pharaoh was known a ‘Mummy’. It was covered with cloth and kept inside a coffin.
The calendars of ancient Egypt were introduced once the civilization discovered they needed structure. Was a solar calendar with 365 day year The Egyptians appear to have been the first to develop a solar calendar.
Papyrus Paper
Papyrus is the first paper made in the world made from the cyperus Papyrus plant.
Embalming (Mummification)
The ancient Egyptians developed a method of preserving bodies so they would remain lifelike. The process included embalming the bodies and wrapping them in strips of linen. Today we call this process Mummification.
Hieroglyphics
Hieroglyphics are the ancients Egyptian writing system in which pictures and symbols stand for soundwords. They believe that writing was taught to people by the god and the egyptian name for hieroglyphics means “ Words of the gods”.
