William Botibol became obsessed with winning the ticket and handed over his wife Ethel's savings, hoping to get a new car and see his wife happy.

The next morning due to weather, the sea was very calm, which would cause William Botibol not to get the necessary kilometers.

William thought about delaying the boat by throwing himself out of it, managing to get a boat so he could get less kilometers and be able to win.

William launches but never ends the story, the reader assumes the end thus achieving an unknown in the story.
