Drug dealers would not be getting as much money so the money that might have been used for marijuana would be introduced into the economy in different ways then by drug dealing

Less people using it = less overdoses

Since its a gateway drug, if it was illegal less people could use it meaning less people would have it as a gateway and less hard core drugs would be used.

If people can't get there hands on drugs it will make society safer

23 states have laws saying it can be used for medical purposes

Illegal federally

This is a conservative bill, its on the right

Tax payers money that goes to police forces to increase funds on drug busting

Increase security at borders so that less gets imported into the country

How will the prohibiting marijuana help the health of the people?

How will this help prevent other drug use since marijuana is a gateway drug?

How will the states that have Cannabis legal be affected?-What will come of them?

When do we plan on implementing this law in the future?

What do we plan on doing to help those who are already on it? -Rehab? withdrawal plans?
