Evidence - Yes, mining is essential for modern life, with out present day. One thing is that we mine for iron to make steel and we will need it for advancements. Another thing we mine for is gold, we use it for computer components. Lastly and important is that the iron and carbon, we make into steel.

Connection - The WSR had just took a trip to Memphis, "home of the blues." But we took charter buses made of steel, and we road them everywhere and without mining, melting and welding we could not have this and a lot of other things.

Evidence - Humans affect the Earth with what we do every day. Humans cause a large portion of deforestation. Other than deforestation they also cause a lot of global warming. Humans don't realize it because they need money but they do a lot for it.

Connection - Lie I said humans do a lot for money, but in this movie we are watching. The main character got a rather large cut on his lower stomach and as you watched he did a lot to fix it and tried a lot to do so.

Evidence - The Earth has changed over all with the population and how that affects the spheres. One affect of additional population creates more jobs and all people know that factories can easily destroy the atmosphere more and more.

Connection - I have a connection with a game, start off with one person and you multiply and usually you will take other people, well "people" to gain more. But as you go on you gain more people and take more. So with real life, as more people are burning more and resources are being used. Needing more of those resources and that's how it's connected.

Evidence - The Earths place in the universe is in between so many stars and other planets. With other universes you could say its like trying to find a needle in a very very large hay stack. And still to this day we are looking for other signs of life and many other new things.

Connection - I've tried to get into computer programming and PC's for a while now and I really enjoy it. But if you found someones elses public source code, (just public code) and you download it and load it in one of your applications. But then you try to find something specific manually, but that will be very hard.
