What makes a good debate?

Change the mind of other side to agree with your argument

Make the other group be unable to counter arguments

When everyone has very good arguments, so good that there is no replying to the other group

When both sides end up having the same opinion

Moderator does not have to say much in order to keep the discussion flowing

The moderator should take notes of arguments

When the moderator does not need to say anything

The moderator ensures that each side gets enough time

Don’t insult people!

Each side displays respect for each other

Questions having many different perspectives

Only one person at a time is allowed to talk

It should have a fishbowl
