To find out digital stories improvements in the children's listening comprehesion skills
To verify significant differences between the mean scores of Experimental and Control groups

there was homogeneity of variances between the groups in the begining
No significant differences among groups initially
the mean score was lower in both groups

Methodology
Research design
A quasi-experimental analysis was carried out at Penang, Malaysia for 6 weeks
The control and experimental groups were told the stories based on Teacher Instruction and the exploitation of the workbook
Sampling
50 children participated in it
two groups were selected
a control group and experimental group
two different English language teachers
Instrumentation
2 digital BBC website were used
children became more independent

Pre-test

Part 1. Knowledge of animals and colours
Part 2. Knowledge of number and animals

to test children's progressive understanding of linguistic structure, vocabulary, sound patterns and prosody of the language
