My favourite book that I read this summer was Tuesdays with Morrie – memoirs have been my favourite genre of books!

Entrepreneurship

Throughout the summer, I have been leading inQUbate (a disruptive technology incubator at Queen's) as the Executive Director. It's been a great experience, and despite my background in education, my interests and passion for educational technology have allowed me to engage with students of other disciplines.

Crocheting

This is a very very recent hobby but I am soon learning how to crochet with my friend on my downtime! :)

Ed-Tech

In my practicums as well as during my own private tutoring, I use several Ed-Tech tools such as Gimkit, Padlet, Jamboard, etc. to aid with instruction

Micro:bits, robotics

In a recent education conference I attended, I had experience using Micro:bits & other physical ed-tech tools (such as mini robotic devices, etc.)
