The economy become a lot better after the war and normal everyday product were being made again as Canada switched back to a normal economy.
The products made were mostly for the generation of baby bloomers
This was because both immigration and the the soldiers coming back from the war made a drastic change in Canada demography.
Products were made mainly for the baby bloomers even when they entered different age groups and example could be new schools opening u when the bloomer reached a teachable age.

This was a great invention that became a part of Canadian culture because families would gather together to watch various TV channels and shows.

Due to the first and second war contributions by women, Canada as a country started becoming more of an accepting country as women laid the ground foundation for other groups to speak up and also still kept fighting for complete gender equality
Women have gradually changed what it means to be Canadian true various ways as through music, sports, acting and various other things

Residential schools
The purpose of residential school were to remove the culture from the aboriginal. Also it was to convert their religion to Christianity as it was the official religion in Canada.
The school were every unsanitary and the children weren't cared for. Most usually died of diseases and were physically and sexually abused.
Children were forcefully removed from their home and taken to far away residential school with the intention of making them 'Canadian'
The last of the residential schools closed in 1996. And even though they had the schools closed down it still did not justify their action, although Canada did acknowledge their mistakes and apologized later on what they did could not be erased from history or the mind of the victims
Trudeaumania/politics
The politics in Canada was unique because it unique because it was also a part of being Canadian.
He introduced a lot of reforms that made the youth really like him.
An example of this is Pierre Trudeau who was seen as a "cool" prime minister and treated like a rockstar.
Advertising was a vital part of politics as he television became more popular.
Early reforms- these were the promises of Trudeau campaign that he fulfilled and what he contributed to the nation to make it greater.
Bilingualism- Trudeau really believed in bring the Nation together and ending the feud between English and french Canadians so he made both English and French official languages in Canada so that the people would come together to build the Nation as a whole not separated as Quebec and Canada.
Biculturalism - Trudeau had always liked the idea of a cultural mosaic and wanted Canada to promote immigration because he felt that immigrants could contribute a lot in building the nation.
Charter rights and freedom - This is a constitution that guarantees all Canadian citizens various rights and freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom of press, right to vote and be voted for,Freedom of thought and religion and so many more other rights and freedoms. He signed this in 1981.
