Whatsapp groups

r

These are varios communities of practice I'm in that use Whatsapp as a medium. One is a group we formed during and for Academic English groupwork and presentations (Vikings) and another is an all female group where we share information on classes, help each other out on assignments and math problems (she wolves).

Books and Journals

r

Sometimes, you do have to go back to basics, and do your research from good old fashioned books rather than trolling the internet for someone who happens to be doing the same thing you are.

Google Scholar

r

Google Scholar has proven itself an infallible champion in my research efforts. I can just google on any topic and in a few milliseconds, I have at my fingertips thousands of journals and papers!

Monash Library

r

Despite the usefulness of Google Scholar, it would be nothing if I couldn't actually access any of these papers and journals. Moreover, the library has a healthy selection of hard copy books and journals to supplement my research.

Videos

r

Being a 21st century learner, I do get quite a lot of infomation from videos put up on various sites and blogs. Some of my teachers do this as well, playing videos during lectures as a way of engaging the students.
