Lemonade Business
-it doesn't cost a lot to start up
-various ages can open up a lemonade stand/organize a business
-flexible work hours, can be done in the summer
-lemonade is a drinkthat's enjoyed by many so business will be plentiful
CON: you may not make that much money
CON: it may be really hot and no one may come to your stand
CON: many people choose to be healthier, so drinks with high sugar content (such as lemonade) may not be on their menu
CON: There may be competition, eg; one person is selling their lemonade for lower prices than you are
CON: If you're making the lemonade yourself, your measurements could be off, which could result in bad tasting lemonade
Makeup Business
PRO: You could become well known in your city, and work at weddings, parties, and baby showers
PRO: you could increase your knowledge of makeup
PRO: you may not be making a lot of money because it is never certain when people are going to want to get their makeup done
PRO: you can save money by doing it out of your own home
PRO: you can be your own boss without having to worry about if you'll get fired or not
CON: you would probably have to buy majority of the makeup with your own money (for different skin tones, etc), and makeup is expensive, and it could end up being a huge investment
CON: if you are a smaller mua, whenever someone gives you a bad review, everyone will hear about it
CON: if you're doing it out of your own home, your family could disrupt and interrupt you
CON: you will need to also hire extra assistants/makeup artists if your area gets too small
CON: renting out a space to use could rack up thousands of dollars in rent. if you're not already making a lot of money, or you don't have a lot of clients, then this could be very expensive and pointless
Hairstyling Business
PRO: you won't need to wait for a paycheck because you will always get paid in cash everytime that you cut someone's hair
PRO: you can be flexible and decide what days you want to be in the salon, and what days you don't want to be there
PRO: can turn into other careers, or a bigger business if you become more well known
PRO: you can meet new people everytime you work
PRO: you don't need to go to school for that long so you can start as soon as you're finished with school/after you get your license
CON: you have to pay for salon grade products which can be very expensive
CON: it can be difficult to build up your clientele, especially since people usually like to wait a couple of months before getting their hair cut
CON: you never know how much money you'll make, especially if your client decides not to tip you
CON: you will need to learn how to deal with picky people, because not everyone who walks into your salon will be nice and nonchalant
CON: hairstylists get no benefits (especially when they're self employed) so you don't get any insurance from your 'employer', because you are your own employer
