MAJOR TYPES/ APPROACHES
Product-Oriented Syllabus
Emphasizes the product of language learning approved by the authority.
Process-Oriented Syllabus
Focuses on the specification of learning tasks and activities that students will undertake during the course.

Concerns the selection of items to be learnt.

TAUGHT CURRICULUM
Different planned activities to arrived at the objectives of the written curriculum.
SUPPORTED CURRICULUM
Includes material resources (textbooks, computers, zoos)
ASSESSED CURRICULUM
Refers to the evaluations done by the teachers to determine the students' progress.
LEARNED CURRICULUM
Refers to the learning outcomes achieved by the students
HIDDEN CURRICULUM
(Unintended curriculum) which is not planned but may modify behavior or influence learning outcomes.
