Mechanics

Eleven Cards at the start of each round

Must get rid all all your cards by putting down

Can go out discarding

This rule is terrible
and everyone gets confused
if it was can't go out on discard

Must pick up a card at the start of and
discard a card at the end

Suits

Different then standard ones

Have to create them

Run is same suit and number sequence eg 7 8 9 10 all diamonds

Joker cards

Work as any card in the deck like a wild card

Card values

Face cards and tens = 10 Aces = 15 Joker = 25
All other cards = 5

Gems and coins

They are the seconday point system/values

Gem and coin values

Gems are worth 7 and coins are worth 3

Each round you climb the levels of an ancient pagoda

You can diverse from the base path

That path is futuristic China

The pieces represent the theme

Cards are a must

But different then actual playing cards

Everyone gets a starting piece

Run vs sets should be different pieces

Coins and gems represent runs and sets

Each card has a suit and
Values of gems and coins
These are dependant on the card

2-5 = 1G + 6C
6-10 = 2G + 4C
Face cards = 3G + 5C
Aces = 4G + 1C
Jokers = -5G + -5C

Jokers are negitive

The pieces are as follows
sword, gem, robot, drone, compass, crypto

Cards

Two decks

Ancient deck

2-10 = crop, gunpowder, bronze, Silk
Face cards in order = farmer, monk, guard, dynast
Joker = Inventor
Aces = Seed for every suit

Future deck

2-10 = spider, fusion, virus, DNA
Face cards in order = engineer, astronaut, cyborg, thinking machine
Joker = Martian
Aces = Null for every suit

On a turn

Before each round you get 11 cards

Then the dealer rolls a die to see how
many Coins and gems you start with

Everyone's is the same

First pick up a play card

Try to make a run or set with the cards

A Run is the same suit four with four numbers in a row like hearts 5678
And a Set is any suit same number

Pick up an item card when you pick up a play card

This card shows how many gems or coins
you get.

The item card can be played to take freely or steal from other player

Can only steal once
If this was more they would be no progress

Other Item cards would be take gems/coins

When you put down you combination of
run/set you will probably still have some cards left

With the remaining cards try to go out

You also need to get a certain amount of gems and coins to go out

This is where trading comes in

If you have to many or two little you can trade or give to other players

There is no limit on what you can give as long as you agree on it

Trading can be done whenever but it makes more sense to do it on your turn

As soon as one person as both the gems and coins values and they put down there cards the round is over

Both is a keyword here

The next round the dealer shifts to the right and it begins anew

After each round the pieces are moved up the pagoda

You can take a different path to complete an addition adjective to get rid of points you may have

When all the player reach the top the game ends and you count up the points and who ever has the lowest wins
