Arguments in favour of trophy hunting of Lion

In a potentially controversial study, researchers from the Darrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent in the UK concluded that specific lion hunts not only help preserve the species, but also the land.

They found that the short-term allocation of blocks was bad for the lions because the king of the jungle was being over hunted. However, the long-term distribution area is considered sustainable.

Arguments against trophy hunting of Lion

While some people don't seem to like trophy hunting, this isn't the first time someone has claimed that the practice can help protect animals to survive, with some pointing out that trophy hunting is needed to help with conservation efforts.
