Method: 1- Investigated UV Spectrum of Paint Chip 2- UV Spectrum of paint chip
Findings: 1- Substantial Absportion of Polyene 2- Absportion should be 0.15 but is 0.6
Conclusion: 1- Not Hundred Years old 2- Each Layer has identical absorption.

Method: No Method used, ONLY Analysis.
Findings: 1- unsigned painting usual for Cezanne 2-Similar to another Cezanne painting. 3- Characteristics of Cezanne's work: Bruskwork with solid brushstrokes groupings
Conclusion: 1-A previously unknown Cezanne. 2-Probably painted in late 1880's

Method: IR Spectroscopy, IR Refractography & Transmission Spectra
Findings: 1- Yellow areas could be cadmium Based Pigment 2- Such pigment mix wasn't used at Cezanne's time. 3- Presence of underdrawing paints. 4-Animal Glue binder 5-Such binders were used in the late 19th century.
Conclusion: Not Authentic
