Compassionate: He wants to make sure his friends are alright

Sympathetic: He felt bad when learning about Yadriel's family
situation and how they don't accept him for being trans.
"Julian frowned at Yadriel, his lip curled in an annoyed sort of way. 'That sucks dude.'" - Page 83

Short Temper: In the cafeteria when Yadriel and the group that he was eating with were making comments and suggestions about Julian, he got angry because the rumors were not true and kicked a soccer ball across the cafeteria.
"Julians shout drowned out the rest of her words 'SHUT UP!' Yadriel and Maritza both jumped. The other three didn't seem to notice, but then Julian moved, and a gasp caught in Yadriel's throat. There was a sharp gust of wind as Julian his leg. His foot connected with the soccer ball, and it went flying across the quad." - Page 111
