Beatitudes are the opposite of the ten commandments. They are things you should strive to do throughout your life.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Max mourns the death of his only friend Kevin. He mourns and then finds comfort in the empty book Kevin had given him days before.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth
Max was quite meek until he became confident in himself and walked through the halls with kevin on his shoulders. Making both of them, feel like they had purpose.
