History
In 1791 Jose M ª Narváez came to what now is Vancouver across Georgia's Strait. He was the first european in treading on these lands.
One year later George Vancouver came and got angry on not having been the first european.
In 1876 Jack Deighton came to the city and forced the workers to drink wisky after working. We can say that the city was constructed thanks to this drink.
In 1886 the first railroad that crosses east coast with west coast was constructed. Thanks to it, Vancouver became one of the most important cities of the country.
