The 20th century witnessed numerous groundbreaking advancements that significantly impacted various facets of human life. The Wright Brothers revolutionized transportation with their pioneering work in aviation, ultimately facilitating space travel within just a few decades.
Just screenshot these and put them on a powerpoint slide shirley
There were many great inventors during the 20th century and Jonas Salk was one of the most important inventors. He was ranked highest because he caused a deadly disease to become one that is rare. The Wright Brothers came second because they eventually lead to space exploration which has a great effect on the planet today. Charles Drew came third with blood banks because blood banks allow doctors to not have to draw blood at the time that they need it and allows them to have plenty of excess blood in case of emergency's, saving countless lives. Henry Ford was fourth on the list because transportation was made easier and more affordable, while his assembly lines also lead to be re-modified to help build army supplies during the world wars. Thomas Edison came last with the light bulb because although the light bulb is very important and it is used in daily life, it does not directly save lives and there are alternative to light bulbs such as candles.

disease to a rare one. Salk refused to patent
his vaccine because he wanted everyone to
