Intense Pain just below sternum

Pain is treated with pain meds and subsides after a few hours.

Most likely

Gallstones

Wants to run MRCP to examine the bile ducts in the gallbladder.

Doctor thinks this the most likely and that my episodes may have been caused by passing gallstones.

Diagnostics

Recommend MRCP

Examines the bile ducts and may detect presence of gallstones.

Concern: 6"metal in distal 3rd of right arm. Will this cause a problem with the MRCP>?

Contacted Dr. G's office three times to attempt to get an appointment sooner than 3/15 or recommend another GI Specialist.
