The Supreme Court of Canada is the highest court in the judicial system of Canada.

Application of the Charter

Every citizen of Canada has Charter rights

All Charter rights and freedoms apply to Canadian citizens. There are some restrictions on the rights and freedoms that can be relied upon by people who are not Canadian citizens

Freedom to assemble peacefully

The freedom to gather peacefully without the government intervening. LIke peaceful protest

The right to hold public meetings and form associations without interference by the government.

Mobility rights.

You can choose to live and move freely through Canada without the government intervening

mobility rights allow individuals to move from place to place, largely free from government intervention. In a country as large and diverse as Canada, the ability to live and work in a location of your choosing, and enter and leave the country freely, are of great importance.

Right to democracy

Everyone has the right to vote and choose who they want politically. Anybody can vote as long as your 18+

Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives. Everyone has the right to equal access to public service in his country.

Freedom of thought and religion

We all have our own beliefs and rights to believe want we want. We can change our beliefs whenever we want. You have no restrictions on what you can believe in.

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion; this the right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance.

Innocent until proved guilty

Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to the law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.

No matter who you are you will be innocent until proven guilty.

Freedom of speech

Freedom of speech is the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, by any means. ' Freedom of speech and the right to freedom of expression applies to ideas of all kinds including those that may be deeply offensive.

Being able to say what we want when we want no matter who it can offend or affect.

Canadian Rights

Canada is a free country where we can do anything we want when we want as long as it doest break the law

These rights include the right to live free from torture, the right to live free from slavery, the right to own property, the right to equality and dignity, and the right to live free from all forms of discrimination.

Equality

Being equal to all people is a must no matter of age, race or gender.

the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, and opportunities.
