Bennett created these to make people happy. However it only showed that the government was not able to provide the citizens with a proper life style

Leader of the protest met with Bennett and it changed nothing, so the began a public protest and a riot

For months men from reliefs camps were protesting all across Canada

Men were unhappy and wanted to something

Complaints were being ignored

Unemployed men enlisted in the war as a job

When Canada declared war on Germany in 1939 Canada's economy switched to a war economy

The government opened up factories to produce war supplies, this created a lot of jobs

Many people were homeless, hungry, desperate, and angry at the government
