how has art changed and what has been the effect of these changes?

It is believed that the Ancient Greeks used art to express themselves. Ancient Greek art was mainly comprised of vases, sculpture and architecture, lasted around 1,600 years and covered a number of of different periods.

Modern day art is very different from Ancient Greek art, the Ancient Greeks made art to express themselves whereas as modern day art has many different meanings and many different forms. Greek art was mainly vases and sculptors and modern day art can consist of those things and many more.
