After the fall of the Roman republic ,Julius Caesar formed an empire With a emperor as the head on the government. Augustus Caesar took the title of the first emperor after the death of Caesar. Rome was first a republic and then the government did not like Caesar so they fired him from the republic and Caesar was very angry so he led his forces though the Rubicon River to challenge his enemies. His army destroyed the republic’s armies and Caesar got killed by his best friend Brutus and then he left his adopted nephew on the throne and Augustus made caesar’s Laws even more and everyone who didn’t listen was punished by the army. Augustus conquered even more of Europe and then formed the Roman Empire and made the capital in the city of Rome (which then became The biggest city in Europe) plagues were kind of now affecting the Roman Empire and people say that might have helped to end the Roman Empire. The economy was always considered when going to start a war. Salves were the last to get everything.
