Blue Cafe - MIS project by Meeran Kamaran

Blue Cafe was opened in the late 2009 at Rand Gallery on Salim Street. The owner(CEO) have some plan to expand his business in future through opening the Cafe in Erbil. The Cafe has a CEO , managers, and servants.They provide several kinds of coffee and drinks. some of them are shipped from outside(England), and the cakes are purchased locally. They use electronic casher and security cameras in their job.

Blue Cafe is obviously a cafe, so they provide both goods and services. The drinks and food are the goods and serving them and providing Wi-Fi are the services.

Customer Relation Management is a module used by different kinds of businesses around the world to manage and organize their relationships with their customers. At the Cafe, they dont actually use any computers. the only computer they have is their casher computer. The manager stated that the electronic casher is great because it helps them keep accurate record of their sales.They actually took the advantage of their page Facebook, they have hundreds of subscribers. people write their comments on their products and services. Also the workers individually show their skills and work on the page.

Order fulfillment is the process of how a product or a service is delivered or presented from point of sales to its delivery to the customer.the process of delivering a product to the customer is pretty straight forward and simple. it only involves taking the order from the customer, delivering it to the kitchen, preparing the food or the drink, and then serving it.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems integrate internal and external management information across an entire organization, embracing finance/accounting, manufacturing, sales and service, customer relationship management, etc.Blue Cafe do not have such thing. the manager stated that they manage their resources with basic accounting skills and they do everything else based on their own experince in the business.

Supply chain management is the management of a network of interconnected businesses involved in the provision of product and service packages required by the end customers in a supply chain.Blue Cafe get their supplies from different suppliers. their major supplies come from England. The information that the manager of Blue Cafe has provided indicates that their supplies get packeged and they are shipped directly to them from england.

As long as the cafe do not use any computer, then they do not have any software that they use other than their casher.

the hardware that they use is their electronic casher. another hardware is their security cameras. they also have a sound system to play music during work hours.
