The fenian force was lead by Jhon O'Niel in 1834 to 1878

Began the battle of the ridge way against the British Canadian solders after charging across the boarder and resulted in many deaths

Veterans of the civil war were requited into the sisioty of america

Atempted many raids against Canada they helped promot the union to become stronger
