What evidence is there for the Big Bang?
The theory predicted the existence of background radiation throughout the universe before it was discovered.
We talked about the Big Bang in class a lot, and learned interesting things about it.
Cosmic microwave:
electromagnetic radiation as a remnant from an early stage of the universe in Big Bang cosmology.
Why does an object go faster as it gets closer to its star?
planets orbiting the Sun, moons orbiting a planet, spacecraft orbiting Earth.
A planet’s orbital speed changes, depending on how far it is from the Sun.
The closer a planet is to the Sun, the stronger the Sun’s gravitational pull on it, and the faster the planet moves.
The farther it is from the Sun, the weaker the Sun’s gravitational pull, and the slower it moves in its orbit.
The speed changes for every object that goes around, it depends on the temp and weather.
Star: is type of astronomical object consisting of a luminous spheroid of plasma held together by its own gravity.
How do systems outside of Earth affect Earth?
Final Answer:
As the stars move away from the earth the closer they get to the sun
How do stars produce elements?
Stars create new elements in their cores by squeezing elements together in a process called nuclear fusion.
stars fuse hydrogen atoms into helium. Helium atoms then fuse to create beryllium, and so on, until fusion in the star's core has created every element up to iron.
The bigger the star the heavier elements can be made.
Elements: are the building blocks for all the rest of the matter in the world.
Once the elements are out of the star the star will die. When the star dies and is cooling it will turn into a white dwarf, after that it will then turn into a black dwarf.
