Nieto's Definition-Multicultural Education is “a process of school reform and basic education for all students (p.42)”. It is antiracist, pervasive, critical, and includes an education in social justice. It deals in gender, economic, religious, linguistic, and LGTB+ discrimination, acknowledging the diversity and rights of all to a basic education.
Create Real Media situations for children to interact with that mimic societal occurances
