WHAT WAS THE IMPACT OF THE SEVEN YEARS WAR ON NORTH AMERICA
The Seven Years War was a huge turning point in Canadian history. With the Treaty of Paris of 1763, France gave there land of New France to the British, and fled from the continent. The Seven Years War therefore laid the multi cultural foundations of modern Canada
In addition to greatly increasing Britain's land in North America, the Seven Years War changed economic, political, and social relationships between Britain and its colonies. It put Britain into debt, nearly doubling the national debt.
WHAT LED TO VICTORY
When William Pit took over the British during the war, it became a huge turning point for them because British started to win. Williams put more money and resources for better equipment and navy while the French focused more on the war against Prussia in Europe.
WHERE DID IT TAKE PLACE
The seven years war was there first global war ever and happened mainly in Europe, India and America
Parts of the war also happened over seas , the war was also in parts of Great Britain, France and Loisberg
WHO WAS INVOLVED
In the seven years war there were two sides that fought. One of them was France, Austria, Saxony, Sweden, Russia ,Spain with other allies against the other side Prussia, Hanover, Britain with other allies
WHAT WAS THE UNDERLYING CAUSE OF THE SEVEN YEARS WAR
The British was to destroy France as a commercial rival, and they wanted to focused on attacking the French navy and there colonies overseas. France was committed to fighting in Europe to defend its ally, Austria. It therefore had few resources to spare for its colonies.
HOW DID IT AFFECT ALL INVOLVED
The Seven Years War changed economic, political, and social relationships between Britain and its colonies. In the war the British were awarded with lots of land like what is now Canada, Louisiana, parts of Spain , parts of France and Florida. This resulted Britain to ultimately win.
