Dangers of using technology.

Hacked or scammed Example if we didn’t have have technology we would be getting scammed for money or getting hacked in to are bank accounts.

Lack of attention, someone could be hurt and your too busy on your phone to help them Example: when your asking for help and someone says one second I am just watching this video I will help later.

Resolving conflicts

Refusal- flat out No!

Delay- Not answering (aviding)

Negotiate- try to please everyone (compromise)

Communication styles

Assertive. Standing up for yourself + others in a respectful way.

Passive. Agree with others + what they do.

Aggressive. Harsh tone, name calling, abrupt/rude, body language.

Bullying and harassment

People that are involved.

Person being harmed is being targeted by someone else this person is hurt emotionally Or physically hurt by other’s persons words or actions.Examples scared, nervous, sad.

The person causing harm? This person who uses their power over another person. This person often is called a bully,in a situation involving harassment Examples lonely,somthing going on at home, seek attention.

The bystander? This is the person who is not involved with the bullying who hears what the person causing the harm is doing to the other person. Examples scared they might get hurt, unsure, worried.

Types of bulliying

Verbal bullying is a type of bullying that uses words to hurt/insult or to make fun of someone. Examples: name calling,threats,intimidation

Social bullying is when a person tries to hurt another person relationship or reputation. Examples: spreading rumours,Gossping and Excluding others.

Sexual bullying is when someone says or does mean things to another person. Examples: Sexting, Sexual touching and Homophobia.

Physical bullying is a type of bullying that happens when someone hurts another person on purpose. Examples: Kicking, Hitting and Gang activity.

Electronic/Digital is a type of bullying when someone is using technology to harass or target another person. Examples: iPhone, iPad and computer.

Harassment is unwanted comments,gestures or actions that make a person feel unsafe.

Bullying is very similar to harassment but add so additional factors unwelcome behaviour is continued and continued.there is eager to harm others. And there is a power in balance between the people involved.
