Interaction with the Environment:
Humans have affected the environment since way back when humans first evolved. It started with hunting and fishing which then lead to agriculture and building cities. We have changed many landscapes, mountains and the availability of natural resources a lot over time. In the United States we have affected waterways such as the Erie canal in New York and deepwater ship routes like the St.Lawrence Seaway connecting the United States to Canada. We have created railroads and highways throughout the country which take up a big portion of our land amongst the states. We cut down trees, build houses to live, litter and pollute the atmosphere like over countries but have more resources and less people than other countries. Human survival depends on how we interact with our environment.
