Applying Constructivism in my own English Teaching Classroom.
Children's learning
It is well known that children learn through social interaction.
Paying attention on Vigotsky's theory that establishes that humans learn and acquire knowledge through human interaction.
Knowledge is actively constructed by child's interaction to the world.
Several activities to pay attention for the constructivism classroom:
Adults
Problem solving activities
Rerciprocal - based learning
Cooperative learning
Oral discussion
Case study
Children
Experiments
Expositions
Research projects
Case study
Oral discussions
Mind mapping
Adults' learning
Even when they understand the world in a different way, they are not passive learners.
Adults are demanding, and autonomous in enducation.
The majority of them changed their minds from being repetitive, manual tasks to problem solving and collaborative tasks.
