As for the technology Department, they should be holding all the cards when related to innovative technology. Skills must be at the highest level and relative to educational needs. Their responsibilities are to keep the equipment hardware and software in good working order. This is where the roles get more defined, the building principals role is to take funding or monies from the district office and place it where it belongs in their building. The skills one should posses is an overall knowledge of all content areas including technology. Their responsibilities is to the community to hire and trust their staff to know what is best and needed. They should know what is new and innovative withing the learning community and implement what is best for their community. All the 21st centry skill are used by the principals, creativity and innovation critical thinking and problem solving, and communication and collaboratioin. The responsibilities and skills the community needs is how to support the students, teachers and trusted staff. Take an active role in their school district bringing their individual knowledge to the equation. community members don't have to be help to the same standards but as a human being, creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving makes an interesting, productive person. Comminication and collabotration is an important tool to have in life as well.

They are responsible to ensure their students are getting the best and progressive learning tools the district can offer. They are responsible to the community to provide a safe and effective learning environment for the students. Their skills are many, content knowledge strong, technology innovative, to have the ability to disperse such knowledge in an effective manner and to inspire the students to want more, dig deeper.All the 21st century learning skills apply, teacher must be creative and innovated using critical thinking and problem solving skill and should have the abilityu to communicate and collaborate with all.
