My Rights

I can speak my opinion and not be prosecuted

Ex. 1 I grew up liking being able share my opinon without the feeling of getting in actual trouble or go to jail

I can have the freedom to beileve in any religon

Ex.2 My friend that is jewish and he is able to celebrate and share his beilef to the world.

I have the right to live and work in any province or territory in canada

Ex. 1 My friends family is moving to another province. Due to this right him and his family are able to work and live over their because they are canadian citizens

I have the right to visit a country a come back when i choose

Ex.1 Say i am visiting a different country for a vacation. I will be able to fly back to Canada and have everything be fine.

I can vote when im 18

Ex.1 At 18 i will be able be a candiate in the election and be able to vote

Goverment must hold elections every 5 years or less

Ex.2 This law is very succesful in which that their is a vote for diffrent goverment and govrmenet members, so that people that dont believe in the current govrment have the ability to vote for a new one

I have the right to not be arbtarily detained

Ex.1 if i am getting detained by a poilce officer without a good reason, i can speak my rights and tell the poilce officer why i can not be detained.

I have the right to not be put into subjected to any cruel punishments

Ex. 2 I have the right not be put in unfair or unusual treatments such as torture. Also my crime that i commited must march my punishment.
