ORGANIZATION OF THE EMPIRE

To build their great empire, the Incas created a powerful army formed by the warriors of the tribes they conquered.

The leader of this Empire was the Sapa Inca, who administered justice throughout the day in the seat of his palace

The Incas were great road builders, one of which is the Qhapaq Ñam or Camino Real, of 5,200 km in length.

A system of forcible transfer of entire communities from one part of the empire to another.

Chasquis are messenger´s runners stationed in the different roads, and that were passed between messages or packages betrween posts located 1.5 km away from each other.
